Need modification to vBulletin to support Instant Email Forum functions

We are a new user of vBulletin. We are a manufacturer and we are setting up an online user forum so that users can communicate with each other to discuss issues, ideas, problems, and so on that relate to our products.

We want to implement the system so that Users can subscribe to Instant Email for all new posts. The standard application allows users to subscribe to Daily or Weekly Digest only, with no option to subscribe to Instant Email.

Here's how we want the system to work:

1. User A makes a new post on Forum X within our vBulletin implementation.

2. An email is automatically generated to all subscribed Users (Users who have selected the Instant Email option) that contains the title of the post in the subject line of the email, preceded by an appropriate prefix (for example, "DV User Forum Post: [title of new post]")

3. Users who receive the email can reply to the email and the replies will show up as a new posting on the Forum, in the appropriate Thread and on the appropriate Forum.

4. The email replies are new posts to the forum, and therefore also get emailed out to subscribed Users.

Do you have a mod that can do this (or something similar to this?) Basically, we want users to be able to interact with our Forums, read posts, reply to posts, make new posts, etc through email alone (if they choose to work this way) rather than requiring them to come to the website.

We have not yet launched our Forum and we are still in the testing stage.

One part of what you need is this:

Instant Thread Notification for Subscribed Forums - vBulletin.org Forum

I know there is another mod that allows people to email replies to the forums.

Re Need modification to vBulletin to support Instant Email Forum functions

Amy: The Instant Notification by Email function is installed and working well, except that it only sends an Instant Notification when there is a new Thread. It ignores Posts and Replies.

Do you know of any way to modify this hack so that it will send out an Instant Notification for all new Posts of any kind - regardless of whether it's a new Thread or not?

Thanks,

Hugh Heinsohn
