What goes "bump" in the night

Is my poor unfortunate Oscar.

Last night he woke me up at about 2am. Apparently he had some sort of vivid dream. I am a light sleeper, so I can usually hear him dreaming. He has muffled barks (very muffled, almost a whine), he starts moving his feet, etc. Well, last night he was at it again, so it was nothing new.

Then I hear a real loud thump!!!! and then Oscar really crying. Apparently his dream was so vivid that he woke up and started running and in his somewhat-still dream state, he ran straight into my dresser.

The poor guy still has a headache this morning.

Always sad to hear of a bad case of dogbonk. Even worse when it is catbonk, because cats have that huge ego to maintain.

Nardo the cat suffers from frequent catfall. He rolls around on the bed, loses his balance, goes over the edge.

Yes, but a cat will never admit to being embarrased or hurt. A dog will come begging for sympathy.
