My son and I were watching National Geographic Channel and a story about how dogs help train bears to be scared of humans.
Well the next story was about a special education class that has autistic students and the dog from the CCI program.
I checked the website for the channel and the show will air again on November 15, these are called Dogs with Jobs and really nice stories.
I was not sure what CCI meant and found it online:

This is not just restricted to the blind and I have heard of other parents on autism groups that have utilized this in the past with their kids.
I have asthma and allergic to dogs and cats but I wonder if this might be worth looking into for therapy for my younger son.
Another site I found:

A few weeks ago we went to Children's Hospital in Hollywood and saw dogs from possibly this organization with their trainers waiting to go see some kids.
