Just tell him it's a new breed of pot-bellied pig, the "wide snout pot belly," brand new from whatevercountrypotbelliedpigscomefrom. Then when it gets bigger, just sigh and say "that's what happens when they start new breeds..."

Remember these guys? There are two books out about them now, and they are SO cute together! Now there are two tortoises (Mzee had to go to the vet for two weeks with a cracked, infected shell, so Owen took up with another tortoise.) and they've just introduced Owen to another orphaned hippo named Cleo.  Owen doesn't seem to know he's a hippo  so they were afraid to try and stick him with an established herd.
