We're sitting here, quietly playing on the web when from the kitchen we hear a blood curdling scream! Not just a scream of annoyance - something rather urgent!
Brian and I jump up and race to the kitchen! Out of the corner of my eye, I see The Beast sneaking out from behind the living room chair! He's got his innocent "I didn't do anything look" on his face.
And in his mouth......
a big tuft of Birdie's fur!

He had a big clump of her fur stuck in his mouth, and he put on his most innocent, "I'm being persecuted" expression!
He got the squirting water bottle!!!! |

 I am trying to picture Delia and Brian barking at Beast (or meowing really loudly) and the neighbors overhearing it and shaking their heads.....

Okay... I will now bite Sox's ears whenever he attempts to enter the house. (All he ever does in the house is run to Rex's dish and start eating his food....it's not like he doesn't have his OWN dish that is 100% full...Rex's must taste better!)

You know, one time Meowlth was being really mean to Grace and I hissed at him-he did this drop and flop and showed me his belly in a total submissive pose
I wonder if that would work with beast

I also taught my kids to hiss at the cats instead of trying to rush in and break-up a cat-fight with their hands. Saves on bandaids.

I used to bite Buffy's ear when he nipped Grandma or me. After that, instead of nipping someone he would start furiously cleaning his paws when someone touched that sensitive spot on his back instead of nipping.

I had one who used to bite when we were playing. I forget exactly what I did, but he stopped biting and started licking my paw. |

I'm afraid to bite the beast. His teeth are more sharp than mine. I will try hissing at him, but he gets that dumb deer in headlights look and acts all innocent. | |
