bought the little monsters new catnip toys yesterday. That was fun. The Beast's nose was twitching like crazy - he knew something was coming. Got so excited - he didn't know if he should play or eat. He got a toy chipmunk. Birdie loves catnip - she got a toy carrot. She used to have one and loved it - a carrot is a good shape for cats to hold. Bogey doesn't usually like catnip so I didn't get him a toy - but then he got interested and I felt badly so I made a little catnip bundle toy for him. Happy cats.
I once had a really bizarre experience with Millie. I had been to my local herb store among my other errands and when I got home put the bag with the bulk herbs (all in sealed plastic packages) on the worktable while I put my groceries away. Walked back into the workroom and there was Millie, lying on top of a bag of valerian and drooling, looking completely stoned.
