I realize that you are supposed to write for a 4th grade reading level, but do you have to make all the same grammar errors a 4th grader would?

It was actually an emu that escaped from a farm that gave animal control and drivers near route 146 the bird. Just a little smaller than an ostrich, emus can be fast, reaching speeds over 30 miles an hour, and they are not necessarily too friendly.

And that's BIG NEWS for Guilderland. Don't assume it was just a slow news day.

Funny image, but the darn things are just mean. And dangerous - they can disembowel a man with one foot. Not a nice bird to invite as a guest.
