| | Re Now I'm really worried | | He's very stuffy still. I hope he doesn't still have a fever - we'll find out tonight. He is still very lethargic, and mostly just sleeps in the corner or in his crate. When I go in to check on him (he's in quarantine ) he does turn to fact me and he purrs. I think he's starting to feel better, but he's got a way to go. I was just so thrilled to see he had used the box! He can pee from the fluids that the doc gives him, but I'm hoping that maybe he ate a bit! That would be good!! |

| | Re Now I'm really worried | | Poor Tater still is so conjested it's sad. His nose is crusted over and raw, and it must really hurt. He is a bit more alert - he just loves snuggling. He sleeps mostly in his crate or on the blanket that I made him, but when I come in he purrs and her moves his head around to make sure I scratch the right part.
Still not eating. He did pee last night, but it doesn't look like he had any food.
He is not complaining about being locked in one room, so I think he's still feeling lousy, but he's more alert and he's just a little lover.
Later today I'll see if I can coax him with some turkey, but I think until his nose clears up and he can smell, he won't want to eat.
He is such an amazingly sweet boy! I can't wait till he feels better. He's definately going to be my lap cat! |

I'm glad he's feeling a little better. I can't wait to hear he's made a full recovery.

| | Re Now I'm really worried | | I'll call the vet and see what the culture says.
He's still not eating, and he's under the bed right now, but yesterday he seemed to be feeling better.
He was totally snuggalicious! He seems to have chosen me as him human, and he's very content to sit on my lap and cuddle.
He came out of hiding yesterday looking for some attention. I had just put the turkey in the oven, so I just sat on the kitchen floor to pet him and he plopped himself on my lap. I was sitting indian style and soon both my ankels were asleep and my feet were pins and needles (big cat). I pulled one leg out, and he flopped over on his side, layed his head on my thigh, wrapped his front legs around my leg in a big bear hug and went to sleep. He's adorable.
Got some meds into him last night.
If he eats or drinks today we won't take him to the vet. Otherwise we'll need to take him in for fluids. |

| | Re Now I'm really worried | | so so so much better!
He still has a sniffle and I can't get him to eat (though I think he ate quite a bit of kibble while we slept last night.
He's alert and acting like a cat! He loves to snuggle and comes to me for attention. He's playful - rolling on the floor and acting adorable! He's just a pleasure and Bogey and Scooter are getting along with him quite well!
I'll be glad when his sinuses dry out and when he starts eating and drinking regularly, but he's just amazing!
Thanks for asking! I posted some pics on my blog (which showed up here as a "my boys" post) |

He's so cute.
This is the most affectionate and layed back cat either Brian or I have ever met.
And yesterday he and Bogey both slept on the bed with us. |
