Anyone know anything about zoos in the US who would take these cubs? Or sterilize the parents?

They must have an impressive breeding program if they are selling the cubs to make money. This isn't about "we can't afford the cubs", this is about "we can't afford to feed the other animals, so we're selling the cubs for extra income."

Sad, but they won't be giving those cubs away.

Call your local zoo. Call the WWF. I don't get that at all. These animals obviously breed well in captivity- most mlions do. It's a shame they aren't selling cubs to foreign zoos who'd breed them.
