Emma's becoming a tyrant! We are all having to follow her around to keep her from bullying the other pets. The crabs are the only ones who are safe, and that's because they don't understand that she is trying to boss them around.
This morning, she nearly made Libs have a nervous breakdown. She kept looking at Libs while she was sleeping. Libby would wake up with a start, Emma would sort of pretend to run forward and Libby would leap into the air and run away. So, Emma began walking up behind her, snaking up realllllllyyyy sloowwwlllllyy and then running under and out through her front legs, which would make Libby yip and run. Dixie loves watching this. Of course, Dixie loves watching anything Emma does, because Emma is obviously perfect.
Emma has chased Poe and smacked her on the bottom about a dozen times since we've gotten her. Poe has started sleeping very lightly, since Emma sneaks up while she's asleep, pokes her then chases Poe when she wakes up and panics.
We've got to teach her to be kind to animals, otherwise this is going to be one long winter!
When Poe ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.
