| | What Delia said. She's already learned how to open the new garbage can and feed the collies!
I was so pleased with this new one, I had6 weeks of a working can in my house where no one was eating napkins or kitchen garbage. Sigh. |

| | She's a beauty.
And it was inevitable that she be assimilated into the household.

| | So, #1 came home last night and told me that one of his close friends at school had to get rid of her cockatiel because her dorm advisor found him. Ok, it doesn't take much detective work to find a loud, squawky bird, so the friend may not be the brightest kid on the block.
Anyway, it only took me about ten minutes to decide that I am at a really good level of pets, and turned it down. Even though he is living in a closet right now, poor little guy. But, litter boxes and feeding everyone in the morning takes about half an hour, and I just can't face the idea of cleaning up birdseed every day, not to mention cleaning a cage again. I adored my parakeets, but they took a lot of work, and we only had one cat at the time, so the bird could fly around a couple of times a day. The cockatiel wouldn't last too long, I'm thinking. So, I'm prettty sure we aren't getting a cockatiel. Even though they are so darn cute! |

| | OMG! Cindy - on a "bad health day" can you imagine a screaming bird. They're beautiful, but not easy to care for pets! |

That's it, the first sign of Armageddon. I'm going to find a church on my lunch hour and confess my sins.

That sign just made me howl! And nope, no more pets, at least not for now.
Ok, ok, I bought a new crab today, but he's tiny and so he doesn't really count. |

| | I have neighbors who used to have a cockatiel. I think they'd love to have another one. I don't suppose he has any way to get the bird to Maryland, does he?
