OMG how cool! When Buffy was on a diet, we put Astro's food up where Astro could jump but Buffy couldn't. Now Dino needs diet food, but he can jump and Astro can't, and we can't have Astro filling up on diet food with his lymphoma. So with one of these, Astro can have his food and Dino won't be able to get to it! Kewl!

I saw that, and considered it. But I was afraid that Pixie would figure out some way around it. Let me know if it works!

Do they have one for human doors? You know... so the humans can go in and shut the door and NOT have a pet barge through the closed door?

"Hey owner, just wanted to see what you were doing in here." Sigh.

If they come up with that one, the toddler/bathroom version won't be far behind.

I was just debating whether it would be worth it to wear a collar to not have kids picking the bathroom door lock (which they do quite regularly).

You think it's FUNNY that a four-year-old can pick a door lock?!/!

The other day I actually took a BATH. Buster unlocks the door, comes in, STARES at me until I asked him what he wanted. A girl can't even take a bath!

Obviously, he wanted to see you. Have you tried a spring-loaded hook latch on the inside of the door, or would he just whack at the door until the hook pulled off?

I don't want to do something like that, because then they'll lock themselves IN.

You wouldn't believe what they can manage. The other day Bug got into my uppermost cupboards with the stepstool from the bathroom they use to wash their hands and a BOX OF CEREAL!

They've gotten on top of the refrigerator. I don't put anything past them.

Pippa - I'm telling you - a leash, a straight-jacket and a big-ass roll of duct tape could solve a lot of your problems.

And the human size hamster ball.

Do you know what they'd do to me if I got a leash, straight-jacket, and roll of duct tape near them??? I'd be trussed up like a Thanksgiving turkey.

At least Red Ribbon Week at school has them thinking all alcomahol is evil. This way I can have my drinks to keep me from having the shakes all the time.

so, what did Buster want?

mine are 13 and almost 8. Let me know when they'll stop busting in on me in the bathroom. The cat is bad enough.
