Re Backyard Living

Isn't it though? I can't imagine seeing a spectacle like that, literally in my own backyard. All I get to watch are squirrels chasing each other. Though I must confess. That's darn cute. (But, don't quote me on that. I'll deny I said it.)

You can if you move far enough north. I'll settle for deer. And squirrels, mice, moles, and too large an assortment of birds to list.

Re Backyard Living

Whenever moose were in my neighborhood it meant heartache. They'd shoot the moose with tranquilizers and inevitably give it too much. They'd put the moose in a trailer to drive it to Vermont, but it'd always die before it got there. Same with the bears. When I was really little everyone would take their kids to see the animals but eventually everyone learned it was too much heartache. Too bad that whoever was dosing the animals didn't learn not to give them a lethal dose...

I see enough animals. I don't want a moose, not even a cute baby moose that reminds me of my Mimi.

Re Backyard Living

What a beautiful video. For some reason, even though I am not watching it live, it really is relaxing.
