Oh, and mine went out today. I apologize in advance for the bad handwriting. I must have still been half asleep when I wrote them, even though I did them around 10 AM. I kept goofing up spellings (especially the word "season" for some weird reason) and forgetting how to form my letters.
I've only known how to write in cursive for close to 30 years. Anyone could forget, right?!

Today we received a beautiful card from Sandy (who really does have the best handwriting ever), a lovely card and letter from Angie and family, and a not so funny card from Lynn that turns out to be incredibly funny once the context is given.

It was just pointed out to me that Nicholas's name was cut off at the bottom of our Christmas card! UGH!
I feel really bad! I screwed up big time by not checking.

I finished my cards last night and this morning, but they are finally all out...why so long, you ask?
Well, I always send out my annual Christmas newsletter, a tradition since we moved aways from New York in 1989. And I wanted to put in the news about my great new job, provided I got the great new job. And I did But I didn't find out until Friday.
I enjoyed Lynn's handmade card (and Cristina and Sooner's.) I liked Lynn's Christmas newsletter (I have heard people either love or hate 'em, and I love 'em--if you hate 'em let me know and I'll leave mine out of your card next year.)
I got Melanie's and Bree's and Sandy's cards, too.
(How embarrassing that two people who just completed big moves got their cards out before me...) |
