Is it just me, or is the Just In tonight filled with crap? Someone is just posting review after review, that's all mediocre, and that's being generous. Someone just posted an attack on an EA member (Not me. I'm not popular enough to have people hate me) I wonder what the average consumer thinks when they run across the Just In?

It's too bad we can't name names (I understand why). I found something funny at the end of one of the reviews. Not that the person was intentionally trying, but it was funny in a 'I can't believe this person was so stupid kind of way.'

There are forums where people name names, and I visited one last night. I am glad they don't allow that here... one person was accused of something that couldn't have been further from the truth. It was all revealed in the end, but it was too bad that person's name was somewhat slandered in the mean time.

Nobody is above being impish. There is something about Epinions that brings out the Jerry Springer in everybody. (Have you ever watched Jerry Springer? I have, a couple of times. While I can't see why anyone would subject themselves to that on a daily basis, there is something fun about "peeking in".)

I read CC pieces. I read CC pieces that name names and sling dirt. I talk about CC pieces that name names and sling dirt with my friends, off the board. (Although I haven't had the "pleasure" of reading any lately. I also reach my fill on that dreck.)

Nobody who is a regular here needs me to speechify about why we don't name names or *wink* *wink* nudge nudge. Gossip can be fun ... we just aren't the best place to keep up on it.

I never thought of epinions off site boards as being like Jerry Springer, but you have a point. Or perhaps a soap like As the worm burns, as the stomach churns. I do enjoy his sense of humor.

I turn it on sometimes late night as one of my cats, Bridget, who has a lot of neuroses just loves the show. She is a beautiful Maine Coon who licks the fur off her stomach, but when she sees the Jerry Springer show she jumps up and lies on the end of my bed fascinated with the action.

I guess I got off the topic of this thread. What was is now??

Dani, you're not popular enough to be hated? I had my first Epinions quarrel when I was trusted by sixty. Of course, the guy also targeted several other members, especially in the games section.

But don't worry, I'm sure you'll get one soon enough!
