| | I am one of the easiest raters around, but I have been having to hand out a bunch of low ratings today
I typically only give out 2 or 3 NH ratings a MONTH and have had to give out 4 or 5 today already. That's not counting a heap of SH ratings.
I'm begging you guys, write something so the fence will be a little less dreary
Amy

| | some days are just like that. when i get frustrated with the regular Just In I usually turn to the books Just In--it tends to have a higher percentage of good reviews in it.

| | sure, sometimes you find trash there too. i said a HIGHER percentage of good content, not all good content!!! i just find that the worst reviews around are first reviews of electronics and kids' toys. but maybe it's just that i care more about books so it's easier to find something interesting in even the lamest review...

| Have you been to games lately? I mean, I like to think that thewre are a number of talented writers in games, but more often than not, when I go to Just In, I see, "I like this game. The graphics are pretty. It is real fun. Buy this game now!".
It's gotten to the point now where I just stay away from Just In altogether.....

| | It's like that. These people are only interested in getting money. I also hate people who write about movies, but they have no idea what they're talking about. People who think Keanu Reeves is agood actor, etc. If you don't know how to judge something properly, don't review it!
P.S: When I found Epinions and registered, I didn't even know we were getting paid! |

| | OUCH, tipu.
in small defense of these writers, many of them simply don't know the norms of the site, and like many of us probably did, get overwhelmed with the excitement of "just sharing their opinions," and do just that. it's not their fault that the site isn't very easy for newcomers to learn!
jennifer,
who is feeling generous because her baking turned out well today (and who should not be reminded that she was supposed to be doing work instead)

| | The reviews do seem to be slipping a tad. Another advisor mentioned to me that it is probably because of the kids who are out of school for the summer. But some of the writing I've seen by the younger people is better than the "mature" adults, so I don't know that that is the answer. I think some people don't care. And then some of us are obsessive and care too much. Is there a shrink in the house, uh website? http://www.epinions.com/user-suzer | |
