Aunti's Journal

Are the journals gone? I had something I wanted to add. Oh, well, I'll put it here --> World's shortest review. Witness for the Prosecution. Charles Laughton, Tyrone Power, Marlene Dietrich, dir. by Billy Wilder, 1957, in "glorious" black and white, as the box says. Fun movie. See it!

P.S. Aside from not being able to find the journals, I like the new format.

The journals are in the database but cannot be accessed at this time. Your info isn't lost.

MJ, it will be the same for annual people. I will cancel the automatic renewal and then PM you when it is time to sign up.

Ooh, ooh! And the comment I would leave on your journal:

I was given that video as a present. The first (and only) time I ever directed a show was Witness for the Prosecution. The actor who played my Wilfred gave me the video afterward.

You're right--it is a very fun movie.

Re: Premium Members

Yes! I thought Laughton, especially, was fantastic. But the whole thing, from beginning to end (including the campy trailer) was totally enjoyable.

Now y'all go see it.

(And then come back and tell me that I've been Very Helpful for making this wonderful recommendation. Actually, what would give me far greater pleasure than I would get from a rating, would be the chance to say "I told you so." Hmmm .... maybe there's some way they could incorporate that into Epinions? A way for people to come back and say they did see the movie, buy the toaster, order the continental breakfast at the motel, and that yes, it was as just as good/bad/indifferent as you had said it would be -- and then there should be an "I told you so!" button you could click on!
