| | Six new ppl trust me today... how odd | |
I hate how it always fluxuates. Today, six new people added me to their web of trust. Tomorrow, no one will. It'll take me two weeks to get a total of six people to trust me. It's just so odd how one day there are so many new trustees, and the next there aren't any.

HEY! You stole them from my list! (see my post titled WOT) I had 10 disappear in the past 12 hours! Now I know where they went! I think Epinions is wonky. |

Haha, that explains it. Hopefully I'll "steal" some of the many that trust Ptiemann. That would be the coolest glitch ever, to wake up, go on Epinions and see that 2000 people trust me.

I have found that when I'm in the featured reviewer rotation my trusters go up. When I'm not I might not get a new truster for weeks.
Are you a featured reviewer right now? |

I don't think I am a featured reviewer though? Oh, and add two more people to my list. Eight new trustees in a single day, this is a record.

i've never gotten 6 or 8 in a day, but i have had days where i got 3 or 4 new trusters and then didn't get any more for a while. i find that it usually corresponds either to a day or two after i did a lot of R/R, or to a day when i posted an epinion that really seemed to speak to people.

I would have R/R'ed about another two hours yesterday if I hadn't discovered that my computer can BURN CD's!!! Instead, I got in about an hour and a half and wound up gaining 3 T's. I always get nervous though when it goes up real fast like that, because just as quickly it'll go back down. |

Could it be a 'propogation lag' on the part of epinions? I've seen that in comments - I review some recently posted work, see new comments, but don't get the "You have New Comments" email from EP for a day or two. I'd imagine the same could be possible with recording people who added you to their trust list.
