I wanna be an Advisor!

that's my goal. I just wish I had an idea of how good a chance I have. I want to be a movie advisor. Ive written 35 articles in 18 days and about 25 of them are about movies. Is there a certain number of hits i should shoot for?

Depends. Some people do less than you and get an advisorship. Some people work their asses off (not necessarily more than you) and don't get any recognition.

I wanna be an advisor too.

That -- and the secret to IS -- is the most asked questions around these parts.

And that answer is still completely unknown. There are folks with googols of hits but no funny hat others with a handful and hats....

Some of our creative folks will give you an answer (dealing with moon stages, darts, blindfolds, prozac level in the water)...

Just write well, staying in one catagory is great help (unlike those of us who write around....), have fun, and maybe one day you'll be an advisor. Or not.

No promises one way or the other

LOL, I can't top Tipu's answer so I'll just be straight. People have taken stabs at looking at # of reviews, # of hits, and there seems to be no rhyme or reason. I wasn't striving to be an advisor because I write in so many areas, but apparantly I've written in enough of 3 or not written in enough of 3 but have enough hits, or the 3 in which I have written, the computer liked..so the bottom line is, we don't know, they won't say...which makes sense, really. If they said, you need to write 5 reviews a month in 1 category would we write 15? Maybe but maybe not. So this keeps us writing as much as humanly possible.
