| | Dear All,
It's been a crazy week here in Jerusalem. Two suicide bombings, one in front of a street corner I frequent, have shaken all of us up a little. I wrote a journal article about the challenges of living in the midst of terror and would love to get a few extra hugs today. You can read the article at: http://mynook.com.
Thanks in advance,
J

| | Jason -
My thoughts and prayers are with you, other friends and relatives in Yerushalayim and the entire Israeli people. The situation is horribly frightening.
I would like to read your journal, but I get a permission error when I try to access your link. Is the URL right?
Many, many hugs. |

| | Ah, never mind. The link in the body of your message doesn't work, but the link in your sig does. I'm off to read it. |

| | Jason,
Your journal entry brought tears to my eyes. You and your wife should be safe and healthy and enjoy your life there to the fullest.
We should share only simchas,
Cindy |

| | Jason, one of my favorite prayers is the Prayer of St. Francis.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
...where there is injury, pardon;
...where there is doubt, faith;
...where there is despair, hope;
...where there is darkness, light;
...where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
...to be consoled as to console;
...to be understood as to understand;
...to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
...it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
...and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
If we all lived peace every day of our lives, the world would change.
May you and Shira be safe while you are in Israel, and may there be an end to terrorism and a return of peace to that area of the world.
Blessings to you both. | |
