Diamond fixation?

OK, WHAT THE HECK????

I am a bit annoyed with Epinions and really am losing my whole give a ... about them with regards to actually wanting to display things in a reasonable manner. Yeah they got new Web Services but a good portion of them are about buying Diamonds online! These are lumped any which way with no real care as to how they look.

Are some of the categories and they aren't really arranged so that you can tell that the advant/disad's are about diamonds (I find that cut and paste orders them in this order so this is obviously just sloppy programing)

Why not actually make an effort in this and maybe have a diamond center if that is what you are looking at??? This isn't going to help people out and isn't really going to be good for business.

I think the diamond fixation might have predated the recent push to get ecommerce.coms reviewed. Possibly even before many of the affiliate deals (assuming they exist) were struck.

I suspect, from looking at the diamond subtexts myself, (after being given 2 NH's for not having seen them), that they tell a story, possibly a story from back when Epinions had more staff than they do now, and possibly someone had a wedding fixation.

I base that on the age of some of the first responses to those topics.

Anyhow, they don't make sense.

I mean nothing to them, really. But maybe if someone who does mean something to them were to suggest redefining those topics.

Shoot, if they gave me the authority on the system, I'd do it myself. But without that, if they have someone (some two, some three) suggest it, possibly by Xmas 03.
