Be able to buy toys or a leash to walk my pet for exercise (but not to earn activity points in H&F!)

I dreamt you'd added hermit crabs and they kept pinching me.

Amy must just have a thing for shellfish eating people's hands.

Being able to select a quantity when shopping. I don't want to let Garibaldi starve to the point where I need the 25-lb. bag o' food, but at the same time, it gets tedious if I haven't been able to get here all day to go in, click food, have it dump me out, go back in, etc. when he needs three servings or so. |

| | Re: Petz Feature Suggestions | | 1. An easier-to-navigate menu. (To feed Claudina, I have to click about 10 places. When my connection acts up, that means poor Claudina doesn't get fed.)
2. Agree w/earning money for reading posts - I don't always have something to say, but I read a lot!
3. The ability to change pets. I thought I clicked on a cat, but I got a dog. I don't like dogs.

| | Re: Petz Feature Suggestions | | Did some comparison shopping in the store... for cats, the milk comes to $5 per hunger point, the chicken comes to $5 per hunger point, the super-deluxe food comes to $8.55 per hunger point, and the cat food is $4.55 per hunger point, which makes the medium-sized food the better deal for the money. Which leads to two observations:
1. 'Tis more economical to let the pet only get a little hungry instead of waiting and spending a lot to get it full in one swoop
2. MJ spends too much time comparing prices before she buys things, even in the virtual world

Cindy | If you go to the "store" as opposed to the "shop" you can change pet type. I think it's 2100 petz dollars.

| | Re: Petz Feature Suggestions | | Noo! If you take money away for playing in the arcade, Myrtle might starve.
M.J., did the per dollar calculation also take into account that the super-duper food also boosts other stat points?

| | Re: Petz Feature Suggestions | | OK. My to-do list at this point -
1. Reorganize things to make it more efficient. I think I am going to put all the links on the profile page and refine how things flow when you buy stuff.
2. Here's MY wacky idea to help the health and fitness forum. I am thinking of putting a steps database back in. (we had a prototype for a while) Then, we would assume you took your pet with you on your walk, and you would boost your pet's health and happiness by walking. Thoughts?
3. Change the arena to a pet show or a play area. Pets wouldn't attack and hurt one another. Pets would compete somehow. This has to be figured out by us.

I like changing the arena. Yurtle kicked Topaz's butt last night. I think competions or shows or races would be fun. Is it fair if a cat races a turtle or a snail? |

I'd like to see a "happiest" pet. Maybe if that was a competition some of these folks who like to let their pets get to that "will die in x hours" stage would be more motivated to not traumatize the Crazy Cat Ladies of Petz. |
