Yeah, I made the mistake of putting up a challenge in the arena, forgetting about it, going away for a few days and finding poor schitzie had become escargot.

I think Perci's happiness level dropped again. If it keeps dropping the Petz just might perish! I was unable to figure out how to adopt Perci. How do you adopt a Petz?

As long as he's available, you should be able to click "Petz" then "Adoption Center" then something like "Adopt this Petz"

OK Amy was kind enough to do a little research and found that once you put up a Petz for adoption, you are not allowed to adopt your own pet. Makes sense. Perci is going to die (probably). Before hearing from Amy, I already made up my mind that I would wait till he passes into virtual Petz heaven where all Petz go, create another Perci in his memory, and never ever permanently set the newly created Perci in the Adoption Center -- only temporarily. :thumbs:

Oh no!!! As much as I'm attached to Garibaldi, do you want me to swap them out? I can put Gari up for adoption and take Perci, and you can keep Garibaldi? These Petz give me wicked agida.

Also, what I've been doing with Garibaldi when I've been too sick to come in is check him in for a couple of weeks, and then, after the first time I forgot he was coming back out, set a reminder on my calendar that he was being discharged. Then I could feed him and put him back in.
