I think I'm shifting from one EA universe to another. At one moment, I see one set of new posts and one set of people who are online, and at another moment, a completely different set of new posts and of people.
I'm posting this as a new thread because at the moment I am in the EA universe where the existing threads about dual universes don't show up. |

Hey, now I flipped universes again!
Amy, if you see this -- is this the new server? I saved some of the threads from the OTHER universe that had posts I wanted to re-post, but I'm assuming I don't need to save any from here, that all the stuff here will transfer over??? |

Oh wow!!! I found the other universe!!!! Hi all.  This is my first time on this side of the space-time continuum. LOL.
The WEIRDEST is that I followed a notification for a new post on a thread on the OTHER board and ended up here! On a totally different thread! |

This universe seems to be an past life. I know I changed my member title and my sig line yesterday, but now they are back to "vote for me" stuff.
I've gone back and forth between the two a couple of times today. I seem now to be stuck in the past/present loop.

Another wrinkle: I've got a bunch of e-mail notifications for new posts, none of which are visible when I come on site. Also, a thread I started yesterday has vanished. (And I didn't think it was that controversial.)

One more time. The host moved the server. When the IP of the server changed, it didn't change immediately across the internet. So, some people saw the old server others saw the new server. Therefore, there were two EA's at the same time. The host didn't warn me that this was going to happen so I could close EA.
So, people sent a PM to you on one server. The email went to you. You went to the other server and the PM wasn't there. ALL of the wonkiness you guys see is because of the server changeover.

Are we all settled in on the new server now? (I saved a couple of threads that I thought were interesting with the intent of reposting them if they got lost in the move. So, are we there yet?) |

I managed to force my way to the old server and to close the forums there. And no, I won't be moving the posts over. I have too much on my plate right now to wade through a bunch of fighting threads and copy and paste.
