| | Lynnzop! Ralphie's almost kicked the bucket! | | How can I help poor Ralphie from bitin' the bullet?
Don't you have any pie leftover from that pie baking frenzy?
Don't you have any lutefisk?
Or, is that what's doing him in?

| | Re Lynnzop! Ralphie's almost kicked the bucket! | | LUTEFISK????
Are you out of your mind, girl??? :shudder:
No, I just fixed him. This "having to be accountable for how much time and where you spend it online is killing my poor green dog." He needed lots of food, a vibrator and a couple of injections to get back to normal.

| | Re Lynnzop! Ralphie's almost kicked the bucket! | | He'd probably love it (after he chews it )
He and Jeremy were out playing on the hill. I called them down for dinner and they came running helter-skelter....Jeremy said he heard a KLUNK and the dog had knocked himself in the head on a trailer hitch. Wasn't watching where he was going. Went ass over teakettle all the way down the hill. It would be funny except that he got a boo-boo on his face right below his eye (it looks better today).
I swear he acts JUST LIKE a little kid.

Rx... | That got a belly laugh!!!!!
Actually that's the name he "came" with. I keep saying I named him after a guy at work or scmrak I think I'll go with the RX line from now on.
He's just a dumb dog. Really. Right now he's standing here looking at me with his squeaky deer-bungie thing in his mouth, panting: "WANNA PLAY?! WANNA PLAY?!"
But ya gotta love the drool-monster.
Lynn

Oh Poor Rex. He sure has had his troubles. I hope he feels better. | Oh, Angie, have no sympathy for him. He was being a pre-teen boy. Just like the human one that's had more stitches in 11 years than I have had in ....well, never mind.
I swear to God, NOTHING around here is normal.
We had a ghost that didn't like home improvements.
We had the pig that snored.
We had the goat that was perpetually pregnant ("she" was a he).
We have the horse who keeps hanging himself upside down.
We have the Dingo...well, there are a million stories about the dog and we haven't even had him a year.
And it's not like we don't treat them all like royalty. They are probably cared for better than WE are, FCOL. They are just goofy....all of them.

| | Re Lynnzop! Ralphie's almost kicked the bucket! | | I swear I've told all these before....
The horse one was recent. Last fall Dan was traveling a lot and just happened to be home when it happened. I just happened to be leaving for work, noticed a light had been left on in the garage, so went to turn it off. Heard some crashing that stopped after a couple of seconds, went to investigate, didn't see anything, then heard it again and happened to see AR, our "dream" colt - the only male Lippitt that Arno produced - had gotten his foot caught in between two panels and was hanging upside down by it in the pen. I ran back to the house (in pumps, of course ) to wake Dan up to get him out. There were a lot of acts of fate that morning...a week earlier and AR probably wouldn't have made it.
And he's attempted to do it a couple of times since We've taken the "dangerous" panels out, but the dumbass keeps finding things to hang himself up on.
We also had a mule that hung herself upside down in a trailer once.
Then there's Chester, the ghost. Chester was the former owner of the house we used to own, and one night he got drunk and drove off a cliff (in Iowa, yes.) His wife, Maxine, went whacko and her kids committed her and sold the house to us. Chester "renovated" the house with materials that he'd bring home from his contracting jobs...we had three styles of countertops, and I think 4 different types of cabinets. We'd re-do things in the house, and he didn't like it. Cupboard doors would open and slam shut when you weren't in the room, one time a mini-blind wand stood straight out horizontal from the window and then dropped, furniture would get rearranged in the living room. One day, I'd had a particularly bad day and was washing dishes and suddenly I could see someone out of the corner of my eye and felt a cold aura. I didn't move or do anything except say "I don't need this shit out of you today, Chester" and poof, it was gone.
Bree hated it when I'd talk about Chester, he scared her (he never did anything BAD, he just hung out and moved things) and she wouldn't go in the basement, even though I never saw him or evidence of him down there. I considered him just an interesting nuisance. I don't think the current owner has ever seen him, but I think you have to have the right kind of energy to see or invoke ghosts.
Lynn
