If you like seeing the first chunk of the first post of every thread on the forum display pages and if you like seeing the first chunk of the thread when you do a search, then go to your usercp options page and set the option "Show Thread Preview?" to yes.
If you don't want it there, set that option to no and it will go away.

Pretty cool! I turned mine off, though - makes the page too long, and when you've already seen half or more of the posts, I don't need it.
I noticed though - we now have "number of replies" both under the thread title and in a column. Did you mean to replicate that?

I don’t like it (not so much for clutteryishness but because there are some threads that I’d just as soon not read  ) but do like that it’s an option. Hey, if clutteryishness isn’t a word, it should be one. |

Yeah, I figured some people wouldn't like the clutter. That's why I gave you a choice. I'm still refinining how it will eventually look. Hopefully, I'll get it clean enough that even you neat freaks like it

The only problem is the display that would bring up the first line or so of the thread when you let your mouse sit on the thread title is gone. I like the cleaner look without summaries, but when a new thread title pops up in New Posts, I sometimes use the mouse to see what the opening is before clicking on it.

I can set it so that you have the mouseover text if you aren't using the summary on the page option. Not sure I'll get to it before tonight though.

Thanks for the choice! :thumbs: I like the old way, because it's quicker for me to pick and choose -- even if I do choose most things. LOL
