The New Posts link no longer shows what you used to see. If you want to see what you used to see when you clicked that link, you need to click "Updated Threads"
New Posts now shows you the actual POSTS made since your last visit. It does not merely list the threads that have new posts in them.
Personally, I prefer the "Updated Threads" view, but you now have an option.

I'm actually starting to get used to the new one. Now that I found the link to take me to the most recent post, I may actually use it for a while and give it a chance.
