I probably already know the answer to this one but thought I'd better check.
I typed a reply to The Duck in the women's forum and used the word Pizza. Now when I look at what I posted, Pizza is underlined and leads to a link ( www.pizzahut.com).
Is EA selling ads this way or (more likely) do I have some #$%^ing adware on my computer?

NO!!!! It's EA! I was playing with something. It's not an affiliate id or spam or anything. I was playing around after that article about the online game that lets you order pizza. I was just waiting to see if anybody noticed. The word Blockbuster does the same thing

 NOW you tell me, after putting off going to work and updating Adaware, Spybot, Norton, and scanning my computer with all three, then panicking when I got back here and saw p i z z a underlined still...!!!!!

Ack! This happened to me the other day too! I edited my post to say "apizza" ,then ran all my Spyware stuff, came back and did a test post with a bunch of terms and it didn't happen again. I thought I was just crackers. I feel better now. *sigh of relief*

See, I was trying to be nice to y'all. I know that we often have food threads that make you day-time working stiffs hungry around noon. So, I figured that next time somebody bragged about their pizza and you all were suffering, relief would be a click away

For some reason, in the Updated Threads list, at least for me, this thread actually has part of the post in the box above the thread title. All the other threads in the entire list look right, but this one shows: Quote: |

me too, I thought maybe it was a new feature where if you START a thread, you see part of the text of it in the Updated Threads list.
