Edit/delete button?

Am I blind? I can't see the edit/delete button on one of my posts. Actually, I think this topic came up before??? I can just vaguely remember the discussion -- I think there was something about how you couldn't edit or delete a post after a certain period of time? Is that true?

If I remember correctly - we can only edit for the first day. That's a question for Amy though.

Uh oh. I often have second thoughts after a day (in this case, I was a little too specific (and ranty) about a real-life situation -- wanted to chat about it with my online buds, but now that I have, I don't want to leave the posts on the internet forever, where someone might eventually stumble across them.) Amy -- help!

You can do a report a post - then all the mods/admins can see it, and can edit for you.

Report myself? Heh. "Moderators, Auntie has been bad! Pull her posts right away!" Seriously, that's a good idea -- I'll try it.

It would be nice to be able to edit/delete our posts indefinitely, as a general rule, though. I wonder why there's a one-day limit??

Double uh oh ... I went to the thread to report myself, as Wormie suggested, and now I don't see a report button there!! HEEEEEEEEELP.

I just looked at one of my posts. Nope, no "report a post" button on mine -- I can see it on everyone else's, though.

You may have to PM Amy and tell her which post you want altered.
