Bomb threat at Grand Central Station

My husband's office has been evacuated because of a bomb threat at Grand Central Station -- he's working his way home now. As far as I know, there's no confirmation whether it's real or a hoax.

Subway service has been stopped below 42nd St. because of smoke conditions and there are unconfirmed reports that there may have been a tunnel collapse near WTC, which might mean years before service is restored.

Grand Central is now reopened -- they've concluded the bomb threat was a hoax. Not surprising, but still unsettling.

Bush will be in town tomorrow. I'm going to stay home -- I'm guessing that they'll close all the tunnels and bridges again and possibly even impose a ban on all traffic. I remember once sitting on an exit ramp off of the Garden State Parkway for several hours years ago when Bush senior was visiting NJ for a campaign visit and the Secret Service decided that all vehicular traffic had to stop until he was out of there.
