| | I admit it... I finally laughed. | | A friend just sent me a link to http://d21c.com/SAVE/NEW/TRIP.html this webpage. It's not for children, and it deals with some of the tragic current events. However, I finally chuckled. It's not politically correct, but it put a smile on my face. Maybe you won't smile. Maybe you will hate me. But the thought made me smile. |

| | You're right, it did not make me smile. No, I won't hate you, I still think it's some kind of shock obsession with revenge, so let it be it.

| | Amy's contribution was definitely a riot. My husband and I got a good chuckle over it.
Boy, wouldn't it be great if that's the way it really turned out?
(Magenta's contribution was undecipherable. That's why I have no comment. Sorry!)

| | | Generating and publishing any form of humor under these circumstances in incredibly difficult and, in some cases, dangerous. The backlash can be enormous.
This makes it a challenge, of course. And a true comic, when faced with a challenge, does their best to rise to the occasion and beat that challenge.
ED 3-4 tells us there is a time to laugh, and laughter is the best medicine. It may not be the right drug in most circumstances right now, but we're going to need it during our recovery.
As long as that medicine isn't tainted, though.
After seing some of the juvenile and cruel things out there on the web, e-mail, ICQ, IM, and other means and methods, the kids these days are far worse at learning the art of humor and satire than they are at geography, history, and all other subjects combined. |

| | I saw the one Amy sent at work...but I just now "got it".
Color me blonde. Oh, that's right, I already am!
It still doesn't make me laugh; nothing about this whole situation will do that, but now I at least understand the joke.
