It would not surprise me a bit if Bin Laden & co. had dealings indirect or direct with America and the Bushes. After all, it is relatively recent in history that they have been enemies. In 1976 they might have been drawn in by the CIA working against others.

One wonders why Bin Laden waited until Bush was in the White House to do this. Perhaps this is personal payback for a perceived personal betrayal? It is not unknown in politics to have political friends become the deadliest of enemies.

Now, if it could be shown that the Bushes sold short on airline stocks about that time, that would be another matter...
