Officer, your eyes are glazed? Been eating donuts?

In the past few weeks there has been lots of talk about defeating sterotypes.

But I guess these N.M. cops wanted us to know the one about cops and donuts is gospel not a sterotype or punch line.........

Well, they weren't just any old doughnuts, they were Krispy Kreme! Perhaps their blood sugar levels were low enough that they didn't quite realize what they were doing.

It always irritates me when I see police driving around in their official car with groceries, family members, etc.

I had one car practically run me off the road because, on a winding, curvy road, I decided to go the speed limit. As he passed me (illegally, on a curve, going up hill!) I noticed the kids in the back seat of the police car had swimming fins on.

Now that was an emergency. I suppose the justification for driving around in the police car is so that they can respond to emergencies even when off duty, but...

How does a Greene County policeman driving his car in Brown County (two counties away) with his family in the car stand a fair chance at responding to an emergency?

Oh well...
