| | What's Your Theme Song? (Man, I love eMode!) | | Yeah, baby. Three new tests! Theme Song Test
--------
I Feel Good
Owwww! Nothing gets you going like an all-out, full force, soul-meets-jaguar, call of the wild. You've got natural soul that comes out in the closed-eye, full-grinned, screeches that James Brown made famous in this song. You don't even need music playing to feel the beat. You were probably voted most friendly, best dancer, or most likely to get this party started, because you do feel good. So good, so good, you can even bring a smile to the grouchy DMV lady's face. Like the syncopated beat of your theme song, you add just the right punch to any conversation. Your friends love the up-beat you bring to their down-beat, and your dates are never short of sugar and spice. Whether you are in the middle of an important meeting or stuck in traffic, the King of Soul's "I Feel Good" takes you through the toll bridge and towards the open road to your next event. Owwww! |

| | Hmmm....mine was Destiny's Child's Independent Woman, which I had never heard before (I'm more into Alt Rock than Top 40), but I played the clip and liked it.
Maybe will have to go out and find the CD.
What's this "break up with your boyfriend" question anyways? After 15 years of marriage, I'm not about to break up with my boyfriend, hahaha.
Lynn
(Who can't remember what a "boyfriend" even is after 15 years)

| | Hmmm, okay.
My theme song is Dancing Queen.
Interesting selection considering I deliberately ignored the entire disco thing.

| | Walking On Sunshine
Your upbeat approach to life makes "Walking on Sunshine" the perfect anthem for you. We can see you dancing down the vegetable isle with your grocery cart, smiling at all the checkout clerks. We sure hope you've had your Wheaties to keep up with your perky pace all day long. This happy, horn-driven tune carries you to work every day. And even in those brief lapses when you're not fully on your game, "Walking On Sunshine" seems to put things in perspective and get you back to your super groove. "And don't it feel good?" Who cares that this tune was a one-hit wonder for Katrina and the Waves? Even that quality matches your one-of-a-kindness. You're walkin' on sunshine and spreading it wherever you go.
Sunshine? Me? Blech.
Sara

| | ROFLMAO!! | | This IS my theme song!
I really do have a theme song (just like on Allie McBeal), and they got it! Quote:
Andrea, your theme song is I Will Survive!
The fiery confidence you normally keep under wraps blazes in your eyes every time your theme song turns on the table. People stand back and wait to be impressed by you—whether leading a project team, or firing up for a girls' night out.
| I can't believe it...that's my theme song! I sing it (to myself, please), constantly when under stress. You can't imagine what it has gotten me through.
That and I'm Still Standing by Elton John.

| | Okay, I have to go get some more steps....but I just got a flashback to me, 4 years ago, 4 sheets to the wind, on the 4th of July, singing this song at the top of my lungs on a balcony in Ocean City, NJ.
Great hand motion/dance step combo to "Now GO, walk out the door...you're not welcome anymore!"

Dancing Queen
Whether it's throwing your own theme party or mixing it up on the karaoke stage, we can see you strutting towards the jukebox in platform, glitter boots and a skintight jumpsuit to the tune of your personal anthem, "Dancing Queen." You aren't just part of the scene, you make it. You anticipate the good stuff in life, and with a theme song like yours, you're sure to get a lot of it. Crown jewel of the 70s, this Abba smash is expected to raise spirits in just about any environment, from dance floor to kitchen floor, and full-blown party. Yours is the comfort food of theme songs—steady and always welcome. Which is how your friends often view you. At your next soiree, it wouldn't surprise us if you danced with everyone for about 30 seconds, started a mambo line, then spun off to dance, jive, and have the time of your life as only a true Dancing Queen can. |

| | They actually got one of my theme songs. When I am getting into party mode (also known as fake mode, and later on, drunk mode) I either pretend to be the enchanting dancing queen, or after a few drinks, become her.
That's me karaoking. That's me dancing. That's me working the room. It starts off forced, then she just takes over my body.
And to think, everyone always played dancing queen for me in my sorority days
Now if they only had my other theme song -- Touch of Grey by the Dead. Andrea and I are similar in the types of songs we sing in our head as we get stressed.
"I will get by. I will get by. I will get by-y-y. I will survive."
Oh well a touch of grey kinda suits me anyway. That was all I had to say, and it's alright. I will get by.
When I say that song was my mantra... I mean it was my MANTRA! |

| | Finn, your theme song is Dancing Queen!
Finn, this is your greatest moment of stupidity! Nah, I used to love ABBA. Goodness, I still love disco and all, but pardon me, I'm more into hardcore and techno now. Ugh

| | Hey Sara & Angela:
If we go walking together, we could play the same music since our theme song is the same.
Go figure--I get depressed and miserable for a week and I'm told my theme song is Walking on Sunshine.

| | My theme song?
"What a Girl Wants."
I'm not that fond of it musically, but the description that accompanied the selection was reasonably accurate.
Of course, I don't know if I qualify as a "girl" anymore....
I haven't been young enough to identify with "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon" since the 1960's. |

I picked retail therapy.

| | Much like Lynn, emode pegged me as an "Independant Woman". (Theme song for the remake of Charlie's Angels).
Don't know how that ended up to be....but that's what it said.
Charlie: "I need you angels! There is a major drug deal going on tonight!"
Val: "Dammit Charlie...I got a fresh bag of oreos here and the new episodes of "Frasier" begin tonight...do it yourself!"

| | I think not!!!!
I love music, but I don't have a "theme song". If I did, it certainly wouldn't be "Dancing Queen"!!!!!!!!!!!!! I answered that I like smaller parties, hate clubs, and like meaningful lirics. I would never have a theme song like "Dancing Queen". I can't stand that song! I think my theme song would be more like "This is It". |
