It's a backhoe thing. Moves small mountains of dirt and digs major holes in your yard.
The adult version of a little boy's yellow dump truck.

I'm digging out our old barn in order to make some new and improved pens. Since I don't get to build a new barn I've got to make the best of it.

Slick must be related to my father-in-law. He's retired and he likes to drive my mom-in-law crazy by constantly digging up this or that part of the yard.

Since I come from metropolitan New York, I always thought those things were for plowing snow....
But I guess on pig farms, they can shovel manure, too!

That there's a Bobcat!
Friend of a friend of mine excavated his basement with one of those. He knocked a hole in the basement wall, drove the Bobcat right inside, and proceeded to dig the ground level down another foot or two (this was after jackhammering up the slab that was down there).

12.5 yards of black dirt dug and moved. 12.5 yards of sand filling the hole I made. Did ya feel the earth shake? I did!
