Reporting epinons to epinions for abuse?

I've got a list of most of monkey's toys - they still aren't on the data base....


Most of my appliances aren't on the database


BUT then there is a device that doesn't hit the market till 2002 that's already on site.............

According to the first review in the catagory the author is a "content engineer" for epinions...........

Yeah, Bridge, having the Treo in the database really bothered me too. I mean, the HandEra 330 wasn't in the database for months after its release. I don't believe the new PocketPC devices are in the database either. I know the newest Sony isn't. The large majority of my Palm accessories are not in the database. Almost none of the software I use is there either, and everything that is there isn't linked under Palm OS software and only visible via search.

I know there are problems everywhere. But these are specific problems in the area where the two products not scheduled for release until next year were added.

Then there's the follow up ethical problem


Other folks see the catagory open for product not on the market - they figure epinions wants their opinions on the marketing and stuff.

They see open catagory -- they write -- expecting great ratings


Other folks (like me :-) ) feel if you've never seen the product you can't write an epinion on it and rate accordingly.......

So epinions has created a problem opening up unreleased products

Both the writers and the raters are feeling like they are acting correctly and to epinion's standards even though what they think the proper thing is polar to one another .......

JNBMoore, might one assume (who doesn't know you or your family) that "Monkey" is your offspring or spouse? Just curious.
