Amazon Removes Book Review

Scroll about halfway down this Washington Post article for information on Amazon agreeing to delete a book review posted by one of its customers due to an author complaint.

Kind of interesting given the events during the last week.

Your old music cannot sustain you through a life, not if you're someone who listens to music every day, at every opportunity. You need input, because pop music is about freshness, about Nelly Furtado and the maddeningly memorable fourth track on a first album by a band you saw on a late-night TV show. And no, that fourth track is not as good as anything on Pet Sounds or Blonde on Blonde or What's Going On, but when was the last time you played Pet Sounds? - Songbook by Nick Hornby

Interesting, indeed.

I wonder what the young legal beagles at Epinions would think if someone did sue them for aiding in libel because they permitted the offending writing on their site.

Amazon totally edits their content anyway. On my "profile" page where they asked for homepage, I tried to insert a link to my Epinions profile page. Despite numerous attempts and "successful" submits...it never showed up there. Oh well.
