Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans

OK, I admit it- I bought some. The black pepper flavor is not too bad-weird, but not too bad. Strawberry jam was quite tasty. Buttered toast was odd, but OK and banana was as advertised.

But one of the flavors is called "booger." There seems to be one in my mix (and a sardine, too) but I haven't tried it.

What bothers me is what flavor is is a booger and how the heck do they know?????

Any ideas? Anyone else idiot enough to try these things?* I suspect other closeted adult Harry Potter fans in this group...

Pat

I'm sure that once I tell my wife, the Harry Potter addict, she'll demand I go out tomorrow and buy the whole store out.

I think they're still open-why not tonight? (Cackling evilly and looking up "Simon" in the white pages...)

I bought some a few months ago. I liked the buttered toast flavor. I got through a couple of black pepper ones and a couple of grass ones, but I couldn't bring myself to try booger or horseradish.

I'm a definite Harry Potter fan, tho I'm not sure I qualify as a closeted one. I realized this today as I sat on my couch, moved aside my Harry Potter poster book, placed the new copy of paperback #3 next to the hardcovers of all four books, picked up my Harry Potter pen and pushed the start button on the CD player. The Harry Potter soundtrack came on.

Who me, obsessed?

Cindy

Gosh, when I read the books I remember thinking "gee, they really should market those things, they'd make a killing!" but now I am thinking even I wouldn't buy them. But, were I six years old, perhaps eating a booger jelly bean wouldn't upset me. I think at six I still relished eating my own boogers. Candy boogers would have been even cooler. Yech!

Two of my coworkers tried them today and ended up with sardine. Thankfully, the boss got "kiwi" and not booger.
