Canadian Invasion

The Canadians Invaded NYC and were welcomed with open arms.

I just thought this was a remarkable show of support from Canada, considering their economy is not that much better, the exchange rate can be prohibitive and they have to purchase travellers' insurance in case something should happen.

I have been very proud of the truly heartfelt expression of sympathy and support my countryfolk has displayed since 9/11. From tens of thousands of Canadians in vigil on Parliament Hill to the many USA flags I saw as I drove along the St. Lawrence last September. Pretty cool neighbors, eh?

I heard this on the radio news the other day. I think it's very magnanimous of our neighbors to the North.
