amykhar has a spectacular aura aboutamykhar has a spectacular aura about
potty training breakthrough

see how good I was about declaring the subject plainly so that the squeamish could avoid this thread?

Katie has really been doing great the past few days. Daycare even told me that she can start wearing underwear to daycare from now on

Clap! woohoo!

ever think that you'd be discussing your child's bowl movements with people on the internet

we're still a few years from potty training here. keep up the good work!

Congrats, it is always such a wonderful event. My littlest cherub has just begun showing an interest as well, need to pull out the potty chair and clean it up for a test run *yeah*

That's wonderful!!!

My 22 month old daughter took her diaper off and threw poop all over her crib this morning. I think she's ready to train!
What a a way to start the morning!!!

Congratulations! That's really great news. I think we are going to be starting soon with my two year old. Up until now I never thought I would get her potty trained . Lately though she has been getting quite upset with her dirty diaper, most of the time anyway. And she also takes it off a lot, I think she's getting too big for them and they're uncomfortable on her. Of course the store never has the size six diapers in either, so that doesn't help much. A few days ago she actually took her diaper off either right after pooping and ended up putting the poop on my carper, or she did it before she pooped and pooped on the carpet. I'm not sure which, I wasn't in the room at the time, but I was not too pleased having to clean poop off of the carpet, yuck!

So I'm thinking a trip to Walmart is in order when I can buy her some training pants and a potty seat . So tell me was it hard to train your little one? How long have you been trying to train her?

Please share your strategies!!!

Amy I am just starting to potty train my dd now.... Not quite sure if she gets it, or wants to do it yet... But she does like her new training pants (even if they haven't changed her toileting behavior. lol.).

Just want you all to know, The Right Start has an AMAZING travel potty... you use (easily) gallon ziplock bags (no cleaning it out) and it can go with you and be used in the back of an SUV.
