New members

Hello,
I am just wondering if anyone knows how many members have just joined recently? I am one of those people who goes to the new reviews section of epinions and browses that. It seems recently whenever I find an epinion interesting it is a paragraph long.

I know it is quality not quantity but these reviews are far from helpful. I find myself rating somewhat helpful after somewhat helpful. I'm not trying to be critical. Sometimes I notice that they just joined and i write a comment that I hope will be helpful. I'm not saying im an expert because im far from it.

I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed the sworm of new or inexperianced users?

I noticed that before I stopped reading/rating. Lots and lots of new people, all writing sub-par (both grammatically and helpful-wise).

Oh well, not my concern any longer...

If Epinions.com goes bye bye, how will the validation process for new members work?

Larry, are you referring to EA? If so, the same way that it does now. Epinions members have access to the Epinions forums as well as the other forums. . . everyone else will have access to the general forums.
