Alas, a sad commentary. A good commentary. Wish I'd written something like this.
I actually do believe in philosophical basis of politically correct speech, but like many good ideas, it is poorly applied. Insofar as it seeks to include and empower everyone, I agree with it. However, it gets turned into a club too often.
