Thumbs down Merck hit with Plant Problems

This is a story today about Merck's PA plant inspection.

They are currently working on an AIDS vaccine and I used to work at the Whitehouse Station headquarters when I was pregnant with my first son.

Many think autism is caused by vaccinations so who knows the correlation between me working there and my son. I always wanted stock in this company, maybe now is not a good time.

The story:

Actually, if the stock plummets, maybe this is a good time to buy. It is unlikely (though always possible) that this is another Enron. Most likely it will recover nicely.

You know, I've heard a variety of reasons why immunizations are bad, and the more I hear them, the more curious I become.

I've not heard the autism link before. But one that I've heard is that the explosion of cases of asthma in our population is being linked to immunizations. Knowing as many people as I do with asthma (including Michelle), it seems from my perspective as if having asthma these days is the norm versus not having it.

I never heard about the asthma connection. I have had it almost my entire life. My father spent a year in the hospital as a teenager and my maternal grandmother had it.

There have been Senate Hearings and many testimonies from families that say autism became after the vaccines. There is a lawyer working on many cases coming together, he has twin boys that are both autistic.

The big story recently was a Dr that left Britain for US and is doing a seminar this weekend in Anaheim about the whole connection.

For some strange reason I need to take my asthma spray now.
