I don't know if it is true or a publicity stunt. $8 an hour for extras? I thought Screen Actors Guild would require more than that.
Poor guys. Being an actor is hard, even being some guy running around punching another guy in a monkey suit in the background of a major motion picture is hard to get in. I'm pretty sure it is. Someone I know is an intern for Tom Hanks.
And yet... they get paid as much as someone who works at Papa Johns
