If you counted 6, then you are a genius!!!
The human brain for some reason doesn't process the f in "of". Interesting!!!

The reason I heard to explain that was because the "f" in "of" sounds like a "v" (phoenetically "ov").

| Actually, you're right. That's why people miss those "f"s. Readers usually don't look at every letter in the word when they read, they glance at the letters and the shape of the word and also the context of the sentence.
So if you missed some Fs, like I did, that just means you are a good reader, or, at least, a fast reader  |
