Wow, I really feel like a contributing member of the epinions community now...::deep sigh::

It was tough. But she is my first (as I brazenly told her in an email...Hey, she suggested it in one of her general comment reviews!...) and I warned her to be good to me::burgundy blush::

You must know that many of you were in the running...but it is so hard to pick from such an august group...:-)

Have any of you ever been 'a first' ??
Is there a way to track that ??

I don't remember my first....but I do remember who was the first person to trust me. Thanks again, frazz. She was already established as a reviewer and it really meant a lot and kept me writing to think that I was trusted. It sure made the next review I made harder to write because all of a sudden there was pressure because someone trusted me.

I cannot recall my first either. (What a crazy thing for one to say!) Never thought of it that way!

But, someone that I can say made the most impact on me is Joubert!

He is an excellent friend, has helped catch a few typos, and in general is an excellent dude!

Same here. I don't remember who I trusted first. But I'll never forget my third truster, the first not related to me by blood or marriage (#1 and #2 were my husband and sister, who didn't really have any choice).

I was absolutely tickled pink when AuntieEmma's name showed up in that #3 slot.

I do remember my first.

The first person to trust me was nothing special because she [I think it's "she" but you can never be sure] put me on her WOT after my first article the first two hours of kuuleimomi's presence on the site. She was a trust slut, I think. Because trusted everyone. The second person to trust me was special though.

The first person I trusted -- sure disappeared from my trust list for a while, damn eps, -- was and hopefully still is a great writer. Just as almost everyone else on my WOT. Too bad she doesn't write anymore.

The first person who trusted me is also the first person I trusted, shortly after coming to the site.

It used to be that those lists were arranged in date order, but things prior to the big change don't seem to be in order any longer.

I think it was after my first or second opinion (they sucked---about three short paragraphs each). Anyhow, she (I think it was a she) clicked the "Trust LambChops" button. The rest is history.

I remember who I trusted first... I'm still depressed because she doesn't trust me yet. Oh well. I'm not taking it personally.
Anyway, keep up the great work - I'm sure you'll find tons of people to trust (there are so many to chose from here) and that tons of people will start trusting you!

You know, there were a lot of trust sluts in the past. Less now I think. But, sometimes I trust new people too. I remember the encouragement it gave me, I was relatively new at the time of my first truster. So, I return the favor at times. Those times I see really good writing and only a few reviews, that's ok with me. I can always remove if they don't continue with or grow into better writing.

Congrats on having your first. That is a major accomplishment. I remember I waited quite a while. It seemed so important, and such a big decision. I now trust over 170 people, but it is still important, and I am still cautious.
