Are you getting search results listing in your favorites list? I had the same thing -- it's Yupsearch or Searchmagic (adware. It's not such a problem with Firefox, but it was a real pain with IE. I've found fixes for Windows XP, but not for Me.

Nope. No list at all. The only thing it leaves on my list is a box that says "links" and that is empty.

I get both a listing of "related searches" and a window that contains an error message (I have both sites on my restricted list). It might be worth checking your temp files to see if you have any that are in as "read only." That's how they show up on my system, and I can't delete them.
