It's the little things in life that push us over the edge

As I leave my floor to get a form, I see the agency busy-body at the copy machine. She works on another floor but is, for some reason, using our machine.

When I come back 1.5 minutes later and try to make 10 copies of the form, I see that the machine is no longer working. I figure out what the problem is and find out she loaded the paper wrong. I reload the paper and make my copies.

I checked with three other people in the immediate area. Busy-body had not informed anyone that she could not get the copier to work, she just left the floor.

So my pet peeve is people who leave things in a broken state for the next person to fix. What's yours?

I agree with you, mj. And people who take the last cup of coffee/use the last piece of paper in the machine, etc., and don't restock

kurt_messick is on a distinguished road

People who 'take a message' but then don't take the message -- they don't write it down because they'll remember, but then, they don't remember.
