. . . customers so far have shown little reaction to the change. At the end of the year, the company will go over the response and impact and then decide whether to take the charge nationwide.
| I've never cared for Domino's Pizza, but the price was right when I had a living room full of hungry teenagers. I hope Little Caeser's doesn't follow.

| | This is very disappointing as Domino's is one of my favorites. I have already been mad at Pizza Hut's charge, but the fact that Domino's is following suit is sad. I hope the program fails. |

| | Not going to make any difference to me. I can't stand Domino's pizza. Actually, the only pizza I get anymore is from the place around the corner. They have a delivery charge, but I always walk there anyway.

| | Domino's is the only place that delivers in my area, but I won't buy from them for social conscious reasons. Hubby and I do frozen pizza a lot.

| My husband loves Domino's. I think the crust is like cardboard.
Despite his love for Domino's pizza, we don't ever buy from them because Domino's supports anti-abortion groups and we're pro-choice (and even if we weren't pro-choice, we wouldn't approve of the methods that anti-abortion groups seem to be fond of like harrassing women, killing doctors and blowing up clinics). We boycott Cracker Barrel for another reason: they won't hire gay/lesbian workers.
Maybe these organizations don't miss my money, but I feel better knowing that I'm not supporting them in any way.

| | Exactly why I don't buy from them. The corporation itsef donates 10% to groups like Operation Rescue, and they ... ahem.. "strongly encourage" their franchisees to do likewise.

| | I read the link, and realized I should have known this. My former roommate works at the foundation the Domino's guy founded. She's actually like his personal assistant or something. The organization has NOTHING to do with Domino's other than the face that they were started by the same guy.

| | Still, every time you buy one of their pizzas, you are making him richer. And every time he gets richer, he puts more money into controversial programs.
I know I've avoided businesses in my own community because I don't like the owner and don't want to nake him or her any richer. I don't see any difference with Dominos. |

| How would Monaghan be getting richer if he no longer owns the company? |

| | Bloomington will be a good test market to see how it fares. There are countless pizza delivery places here because of the huge student market. Most do not charge for delivery. |

| | Well good to know Domino's no longer makes the original Operation-Rescue-supporter/owner rich. But I still won't buy from Domino's.
That's 'cause I had Domino's at a friend's house and thought it sucked.

| | It's good to know that if I buy Domino's pizza, now, that the profits won't go toward supporting anti-abortion groups. I still don't like their pizza.
If Monaghan still owned the company, I wouldn't change my stance, whether it's his own money (made from Domino's profits) or it if had been Domino's itself.

Most do not charge for delivery. | My friends and I always ordered from Papa Johns in college...cheap, and the taste is not too objectionable.
Across from Ashton is (or used to be) two pizza places...the Natural Pizza (or something like that) and the gourmet place. I didn't like the taste of the former and the latter was far too expensive for poor students.
Nowadays, we mostly make our own pizza. Cheap, and not nearly as greasy as many chain places. If we do order out, it tends to be Donato's. I really don't care for the flavor of Domino's pizza, as I am uncertain how they manage to make a pizza so flavorless.

| | | I make my own wheat-rosemary-garlic crust pizza, and it's much better than Domino's could ever come up with. | | |
