I haven't looked deeply into Nissan's financials, but its one of the few automakers I'm bullish on.
I think the strength of their product line is second only to Volkswagen right now. They're not having to bleed themselves on rebates and below prime financing, and their lineup for 03 and 04 look really strong. I've also heard that the French management has gotten a lot of their costs under control.
I'm not very enthused about the market for hybrids. (And speaking of which, did everyone hear about Ford killing their "Th!nk" electric division? They can't afford to finance it while the rest of the company is bleeding cash.)
